Turn on Facebook push notifications
Notifications are updates about activities on Facebook. You can't turn off notifications entirely, but you can go to your notifications settings to change what you're notified about and how you're notified. There are several ways in which you receive notifications including on Facebook, via email, and push notifications (on your phone or web browser). Push notifications help users re-engage with your friends on Facebook when they're not active. This article shows you how to adjust Facebook push notifications through Chrome and mobile.
How to adjust Facebook push notifications
Through Google Chrome
Step 1: Open the browser and log into your Facebook account.
Step 2: Click and select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click Notifications in the left column.
Step 4: Click Desktop and Mobile.
Step 5: Under Desktop, click Turn On to the far right of Chrome to turn it on.
Note: If you're having issues, clear Google Chrome's browsing data and cookies, close then re-open your browser and try again.
Step 1: Go to Settings your device settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Notification Center.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap Facebook.
Step 4: Toggle the button next to Show in Notification Center to turn it on or off .

Step 2: Scroll down and tap App management.
Step 3: Tap Facebook.
Step 4: Tap Notification Manager.
Step 2: Toggle the slider next to Allow Notifications to the left to turn it off.
If you turn this feature on, you can adjust how you're notified about.
