Facebook allows its users to create a calendar-based invitation and invite their friends or a select group of people. It will provide information about the time, date, and anything related to the event. It's a great way to spread upcoming events. Events can be created by anyone. It can be open to everyone or private.

Only the event host can add more hosts to his/her event. 

Step 1: Go to the event.

Step 2: Click Edit in the top right of the page or below the cover photo.

Step 2: Scroll to the Co-hosts field and enter a name of a friend you want to invite to co-host your event.

Hosts and co-hosts can invite more people to an event and edit event details.

From your private event on Facebook

Step 1: Go to the event.

Step 2: Click Going - Maybe - Invited.

From your public event

Step 1: Click Going - Interested.

Note: People will not receive any notification when they have been removed from your event. They will no longer get any messages or notifications from that event.
